The resort should have been shut down about 10 years ago. Everything is too old. We stayed in rooms 402 and 403. The rooms are so high up on the hill you need to take a bus (provided by the hotel). If you have kids or elderly the bus is the only way up. The rooms have a constant odour from the toilet to the extent that the whole level smells of toilet from outside, not just inside. When this was brough to the staff s attention the response was Oh, really? Many people from rooms near by complained about the smell. The rooms interior and exterior are old and looks like design from the early 80s or 70s. TV, fridge, everything is old. The rate for this hotel is expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Plus the resort charges you for everyhing extra, e.g. kettle 50 baht extra. Internet - not free. Most resorts provide these services free of charge for the guests. Food is bad. The eggs and other hot dishes they serve are cold by the time you get to them. The choice is poor. Don t bother with this place, poor value for money. The resort is situated on a mountain and the weather is cool compared to the rest of Thailand. The resort is very remote, but that s why you go here.
