This hotel is a great value for the price and located very conveniently at the south end of Kata Beach." | It was easy and safe!, January 5, 2012
by A LINDSTRÖM visit date:December 30, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "- The hotel was located beside a very trafficated road, so you must wear earplugs if you want to sleep before 2-3 am! - We couldn´t use our balcony because of the traffic and noice outside. - The beds madrasses was very hard. - There wasn´t any breakfastbuffé. You have to order your breakfast and we ate the same for breakfast during the hole week, which was boring.- The doors locking system was bad because you could unlock several doors with your own key!! - We thougt the pool was outside, but it wasn´t! + The staff was very kind and frendly!+ The hotel had beachtowels to borrow and you get fresh ones every day! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | November 25, 2011

Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was quiet and large - a nice retreat from busy Kata (which is busy - but nowhere near as busy as Patong). Bathroom nothing special but fine. Good location (easy to get to beach, no big walks or big hills). Some good restaurants nearby." | As always good., January 9, 2009 by Yngve and Britt Emilsson visit date:December 14, 2008 "Rather good hotel with very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant in front was not so good situated, feeld like sitting and eating i the middle off traffic." | Very easy service, and extremely efficient., October 27, 2008 by David Andrew Charters visit date:October 13, 2008 "Great little hotel, fantastic staff. The rooms were great, we had two rooms on the top floor with balconies overlooking the street. We ate nearly every meal at the restaraunt and found the food to be of a very high quality, and reasonable price.About 5 minutes stroll to the beach.Hotel needs a bit of TLC but other than that i could not fault it." | The booking service was efficient., September 29, 2008 by Craig H. visit date:September 24, 2008 "My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Kata Minta and its staff. The receptionists/waitresses, cooks and room maids were all very friendly and helpful, the room was very good value for money and the location very good within Kata. The sauna and plunge pool were a nice extra and the kow tom moo (rice soup with pork) for breakfast was excellent. The only negative comment I would make is that the bed was as hard as a rock. I know most Thai hotels are the same but in a hotel owned by a foreigner, one would hope there would be foreign style mattresses." | July 25, 2008 by mikael and regina rajaniemi visit date:July 7, 2008 "We are very pleased with this hotel. Actually so pleased that we went back for five more days at the end of our visit in Thailand." | Very good everything worked perfekt even pick-up. (Tried to deal directly with hotel last year, a mess with 7 or 8 mails before everything was in order.), July 3, 2008 by Family Tegner visit date:May 28, 2008 "We ve been at Phuket 5 times now, and this was our first stay in Kata. We asked for ground-floor, but that was downstairs. Friendly and caring as the manegement at Kata Minta is they offered us a room on reception-floor, which was perfekt. Kata Minta was a very nice and clean hotel with al the needed facilities plus jacuzzi and sauna downstairs. The price was very, very good 1050 Bath for me and my wife and our 2,5 years child, incl ABF, inceadeble price for this kind of service and standard. One very nice example is that they had a loaded refridgerator with nice cold things to drink, wich is a life-saver after 16 hours of travelling, not all hotels have that. Finally if we return to Kata Beach, we will absolutely stay at Kata Minta- near beach, marts, pharmacy and other places to eat- although Katas food was good. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | No problem. Very easy, March 20, 2008 by Holly Jaeger visit date:March 14, 2008 "Excellent hotel, great location. I would stay again. There is a beautiful spa downstairs. Be sure to check it out. " | The booking service was fine and I had a reminder to pay the final payment before going out on the holiday., March 30, 2008 by Michael James Bradshaw visit date:March 6, 2008 "After staying for just 5 days we booked out of the hotel as we could not stand the hotel any longer and booked into another hotel down the road which for just another 2500 Bart per night was far superior. The hotel as described on the webb site sounds nothing like the hotel in reality. The room we had on the ground floor smelt very musty and the views were of the backs of other hotels and thier areas for hanging out the washing. We changed the room after one night for a 1st floor room which was hardly any better. The room was quite large and clean although none of the windows fitted properly and this allowed insects into the room and a small lizard into the bathroom. The breakfast consisted of a chioce of orenge juice,a slice of toast, a few slices of pinaple, melon and tea or coffee. This was served on the outside tables which were rotten and falling apart. They were also running over with ants. The jucusi which is down in the basement and not outside as appears in the picture, is hardly inviting with damp walls and hardly any natural light. I would definately not reccommend this hotel as you can find far superior ones for not much more. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | Everything worked fine, March 3, 2008 by Marko V. visit date:February 25, 2008 "This is a small and nice hotel near Kata Beach. Personnel is very friendly and atmosphere very nice. As Finnish family, we were very positive surprised when we found scandinavian sauna from the basement." | Easy, December 20, 2007 by James Pinkham visit date:December 2, 2007 "Very nice hotel, good value, nice comfortable room. Kata beach is quite a distance from airport, and we got a rental car since it was about as much as a taxi and we figured we d explore with it. This worked out well, but we had to park a bit far away from the hotel along the beach. Lovely beach, relaxed vibe - would like to have stayed longer, but Ao Nang (our next stop) was even nicer." | easy to book, although their book quick we are very busy wasnt true there werent many guests at all. , May 18, 2007 by sarah visit date:May 9, 2007 "The hotel room was really nice as shown in the picture, the hotel itself was nice but a little dated and everywhere smelled abit musty but overall good and the staff were friendly. One big negative was the food which was not good, we only ate here once but it was bad enough for us to eat out for every meal afterwards. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | Recommended HotelsDestination:Bangkok Location:Sukhumvit Road, Soi 22 Address:30 Sukhumvit 22, City:Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110 Start Rate:46 USD (Rate as of May 23 2012 09:47:16 GMT) Destination:Koh Samui Location:Chaweng Beach Address:154/14-15 Moo 2, Chaweng Beach City:T.
