The cons: the standard room is not pretty and you hear every noise from neighbors; the beds/pillows are hard, and it s 10 km from Pai. Our standard room was simple and basic (no tea-coffe facilities, etc .. just bed, dressing table and WC) but the atmosphere surrounding it was superb. A big shady tree and the view of Pai river was fantastic with lots of birds singing on the tree. So peaceful. The resort garden was really nice. There were several hot spring pools in the area. Even though they looked basic but soaking in it in the cool weather was great. And it looks they are not finished yet for another year. They gave us the wrong room, a dark, depressing standard room with only one window. We booked a different room, but they told us Sawadee booked a standard room. Luckely we could change to a bit better room. But still not much. A privat spa near the room is nice. The bathroom is dirty and everything is broken. The resort is difficult to find, because on the sign stayes another name.
