"what a joy to arrive in Ploy Palace Hotel with a sawasdee voucher, even they do not speak perfect english they greeted us nicely. The room was well decorated with a small toy animal on the bed, some fruits on a plate and a vase with a decorative leave. "surprisingly nice hotel in such a small city. Staff smiling and very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable, even a fruit basket welcomed us. Breakfast below expectation, the toast is dry like paper, westerner will not enjoy this breakfast. "Well appointed medium sized room. A plus was to have the mini bar fridge at body level and NOT on the floor like most hotels. Bathroom Ok with basic toiletries ( good sized hand soap). Bright and airy dining room for nice buffet b fast and hot dishes. No international News or movie channels on cable. 15 minutes walk to the riverside area. "An excellent hotel in nearly all respects. Rooms were a good size standard with nice facilities. Only small gripes which are hardly worth mentioning.
